Report a misattributed quote

For “this quote is misattributed” or “this is falsely attributed to me.”

This registry records who put a line on the record — it does not certify that an attribution is true. When an attribution is wrong, this is the channel to say so. Reports land in a human review queue. Nothing is taken down automatically; if a report is upheld, the quote is publicly marked as disputed and may be removed after review.

  • Copyright complaints belong in the DMCA takedown flow.
  • Earlier-source claims(“someone said this before”) have a dedicated form on each record's verify page.
  • Your own personal data (name, email) can be erased via the privacy policy's deletion flow.

If you claim to be the quoted person or their representative, we may email you to verify that before acting. Knowingly false reports may lead to future reports from you being ignored.
